Pyramid E&C offers a wide range of engineering design services for oil and gas production equipment manufactured as per industry requirements.

We offer following engineering services for equipment design and detailing:

  • Pressure vessel design: We have in depth technical knowledge & rich experience in the most advanced mechanical design activities and pressure vessel design software like PV Elite and Compress. Our team of civil engineers perform equipment foundation design. Pressure vessel (vessel, heat exchanger, distillation column) detailed drawings are prepared by team of experienced draughtsmen specialised in pressure vessel detailing using software like AutoCAD.

Pressure vessels are designed as per the requirements of codes such as ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1, ASME Sec. VIII Div. 2, PD 5500, AD Merkblatter and all other international standards. Equipment can be designed with PED and, “U” and “U2” Stamping requirements.

  • Finite Element Analysis: Finite Element Analysis (FEA) provides a method of analysing complex geometries. Our engineers who are experienced in performing finite element analysis, know how to correctly use the FEA software chosen, and are well-versed in the requirements of the ASME Codes. They are experienced in pressure vessel design using FEA as per Part 5 of ASME Sec. VIII Div. 2 of the Code. Also, nozzle local load analysis is regularly carried out using FEA, as the conventional software have limitations. We work on FEA software like Ansys, Abaqus etc.
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD): We carry out CFD simulation for oil and gas equipment to optimize production by way of flow control, separation, water recycling and heat generation. CFD for oil and gas and structural mechanics for oil and gas production use advanced simulation and analytical solutions to aid in studying thermal profiles, structural integrity, slugging, and hydrate and wax formation. Our team has got rich experience in using CFD software like Ansys CFD, Autodesk CFD etc.

Heat exchanger design: Thermal design of heat exchangers is performed using HTRI and AspenTech. Our state-of-the-art facility enables us to design all types of TEMA (Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association) and specialized heat exchangers.

In order to increase heat transfer coefficients in single pass process streams with high temperature differentials, we specialize ourselves in design and manufacturing of hairpin heat exchangers.

  • Storage tank design: We offer services of storage tank design as per API 650 and API 620. Also, we undertake assignments in performing design of floating roof storage tanks. Our team of civil engineers perform foundation design. Tank detailed drawings are prepared by team of experienced draughtsmen specialized in storage tank detailing using software like AutoCAD.
  • We have vast experience in performing design of pressure vessels involving following materials:

  • PE Stamping: Whether you need basic calculations or a PE stamp, our professional engineers are able to meet your required needs.
  • RFI Support (from Houston): An RFI is a request for information that is used in construction to clarify any uncertainties or to fill in any gaps in information that may be found in any specifications, plans, contracts, or other document.
